Using scissors, trim approximately 1½"
from top edge of bag to create smooth edge. Reverse fold narrow edges of
bag so center crease is folded out rather than folded in. Using border
punch, begin punching in center of top of bag (punching through both
layers of bag). Continue to realign punch and punch to each folded edge.
Carefully fold bag over so approximately ¾"
of bag edge is folded over.
Using hand punch, punch trees along top edge of border punched
flaps.
Using rotary trimmer, cut a piece of sage cardstock to measure
3¼" x 4¼". Cut a piece of cream cardstock to measure 3"
x 4". Trim
cream cardstock using Deckle Paper Edgers. Chalk around deckled edges
using sage chalk. Using photo stickers, adhere cream cardstock piece
to center of sage piece.
Using ShapeCutter with Flowers ShapeTemplate and craft mat, cut 3
small leaf shapes from sage cardstock. Trim around edges of leaf
shapes using clouds paper edgers to create holly leaf look. Adhere
these pieces to center of cream cardstock piece, arranging in holly
spray pattern. Glue three red buttons to leaves. Stamp or journal "Merry
Christmas" to bottom of cream cardstock piece. Adhere layers to front
of gift bag using photo stickers.
