8½” x 5½” ridged card stock –mint or cream (Paper Accents)

Dragonfly rubber stamp (Hero Arts Design Notes)

Bamboo Garden rubber stamp (Stampendous)

Brilliance ink (ivy, moonlight white, Victorian violet)

Iridescent embossing powder (Stampendous)

2” square piece of ribbed vellum paper –lavender or mint (Paper Accents)

Half a sheet of ridged card stock – cream or mint (Paper Accents)

White mulberry paper with gold threads (Mountain Idea)

Watercolors (any brand)

Heiko tape

¼” Terrifically Tacky Tape (Art Accents)

Two blue green glass tube beads or three metallic swirl mix pink beads (Cousin Touch of Glass)

Metallic gold thread (embroidery)

Bamboo skewer

Assorted pieces of fancy yarn including at least one 12” piece of Homespun (colors to coordinate with watercolors used)

1-7/16” square paper punch (Marvy)

Scissors

White craft glue (Aleene’s)

Heat gun

Directions
Fold the ridged card stock in half to form a 4¼” x 5½” card with the ridges going vertically.

Tear a piece of mulberry paper into approximately a 5” square. Using the moonlight white ink and the bamboo garden rubber stamp, stamp the design all over the torn piece of mulberry paper. Emboss the bamboo design with the iridescent powder. Watercolor over the embossed design using colors to coordinate with the vellum and cardstock.

Sparingly put glue on the bamboo skewer and wrap with the Homespun yarn covering about half of the bamboo skewer. Let the extra yarn hang down. Add at least one more piece of yarn and finish with the gold thread. Tack with glue and allow a few inches to hang.

Tear the water colored mulberry paper into an interesting shape and adhere it to the card with Heiko tape.

Cut off the extra part of the bamboo skewer (end without yarn) and attach yarn-covered skewer to card (just below top of mulberry paper) with Terrifically Tacky Tape.

Rubber stamp dragonfly design onto vellum paper using ivy or Victorian Violet ink. Punch out dragonfly design using square punch upside-down (so you can center the design). Attach vellum square to front of card with Heiko tape.

String two or three beads onto gold threads and knot thread twice below beads to secure.
