Owl Pencil Top

Supplies: Pencil or similar Chenille Stem – yellow #7767 4200 or orange #7767 4432 2 – 1" Beige Pom Poms #3000 6979 2 – 7mm Moving eyes #7766 0837 1/2" x 1/2" Orange Foamie #7761 3521 1" x 1" Cocoa Foamie #3004 1092 1' x 2" Cocoa Foamie #3004 1092 Low Temp Glue Gun & Glue sticks

Directions:
Trace and cut out pieces from foamie according to the patterns.
Glue the two 1” beige pom poms together to form the body and head of the owl. Position the eyes on the head pom pom and glue in place. Place the beak below the eyes and glue in place. Place an ear on either side of the top of the head and glue in place. Place a wing on either side of the lower body pom pom and glue in place.
Leaving a 1 ½” tail at one end, take the chenille stem and wrap around the eraser end of the pencil. Continue to coil around the pencil until you have 1 ½” of chenille remaining. Take the two 1 ½” ends of the chenille, cross over the coiling and twist together. Bend the ends over and split apart to form the owl’s feet. Glue the bottom of the pom pom owl onto the feet.
