Directions
for the Card
Cut
pieces of tan and purple cardstocks to measure 5-5/8" X\x
8-5/8". Score both pieces halfway (at 4-5/16") and fold in
half. Punch top right corner of front flap of card with Lace 3-in-1
Corner Punch. Trace along top and right edges of tan section of card
with gold paint marker. Set aside to dry.
On
top right corner of purple piece, measure down 1½" from top and
mark along edge. Also measure in 1½" from right edge and mark
along top edge. Using ruler, lightly trace a line between two marks. Cut
corner off. Using border punch, punch along trimmed edge. Beginning at
diagonal corners, punch along top and right edges of purple cardstock
piece. Use photo stickers to adhere this piece to outside of tan card.
Cut a piece of tan cardstock to measure 3" x 4". Repeat corner
trimming process on this piece, but measure in ¾" along each edge.
Punch only diagonal edge with border punch. Punch remaining 3 corners
with Lace 3-in-1 Corner Punch. Use photo stickers to adhere this piece
to lilac handmade paper. Tear around edges to create a ¼" border
of torn paper. Use photo stickers to adhere these layers to center of
purple section on front flap of card.
Cut
a piece of purple cardstock to measure 2" x 2¾". Repeat
trimming process on this piece, but measure in ½" along each edge.
Trace around all edges of this piece with gold paint marker. Set aside
to dry.
Cut
a piece of beading wire to measure 10". Randomly wrap wire around
glass heart and twist behind heart to secure. With hand punch, punch a
hole directly in the center of small purple cardstock piece. Thread both
ends of wire through hole, then spread apart behind cardstock to secure.
Trim ends of wire. Use photo stickers to adhere purple cardstock piece
to center of tan cardstock piece.
Tie
