Directions
Trace and cut out pieces from foamies according to the patterns.
To create full size patterns for the head and beard, you will need to make a pattern using the copy paper. For the head, place two sheets of 8-1/2” x 11” copy paper together. Tape the edges of one side together with Scotch tape, creating the fold line. Place the pattern onto the copy paper, aligning the straight edge onto the taped fold. Trace the pattern and cut out. Repeat these steps with the beard pattern.
Place the full size patterns for the head and beard onto the foam core board. Trace and cut out with the X-acto knife.
Place two white felt squares next to each other and overlap the 12” edge about ½”. Glue the overlap together to make one large piece. Repeat with the other felt squares.
Place a foam core board piece onto the felt. Pull and stretch the felt over the edges of the foam core and glue in place. Trim off excess felt. Repeat with the other pieces of felt and foam core.
To complete the head, center the flesh foamie face onto the white felt head. Place the two moving eyes on and glue in place. Place a red circle on either side of the face for the cheeks and glue in place. Glue the two felt mustaches together. Place along the bottom of the head, overlapping the cheeks. Glue in place. Place the red pom pom on the top center of the mustache and glue in place.
