NOTE: The sample shown used printed cardstock from doodlebug designs Cake & Ice Cream collection. “Surprise Party” for the card front and sentiment The stamps used are from dandelion designs, the mini shave ice stamp and cling stamp set “Lots of Love” for the dog.

Directions

Place the 5 ½” x 11” cardstock on the score board lengthwise. Score at 5 ½” and 8 ¼”. (FIG. 1)

Fold the card in half at the 5 ½” score line, then fold the 8 ¼” score line out, opposite direction, this creates the easel. (FIG. 2)

Center the 5” x 5” printed cardstock onto the 5 ½” x 5 ½” cardstock and tape in place.
Decorate and embellish the square.

Align the top edge of the decorated square to the edge of the last scored section of the card and tape in place. Stand card up as an easel. (FIG. 3)

Center the 2 ¾” x 5” cardstock on the bottom flat area (FIG.3) Tape in place and write in your sentiment. Decorate with embellishments. These will help keep card propped up as well.
